The Kiribati Land Transport Authority (KLTA) has announced its ongoing efforts to implement the Traffic Act of 2017.
KLTA is encouraging the public to report any vehicles and motorcycles that cause discomfort due to modified lights, exhaust systems, and other alterations.
KLTA has stated that its patrol officers have already issued warnings to several vehicle and motorcycle owners who were found in violation of the Act.
The authority has indicated that repeat offenders will face stricter penalties moving forward.
