Nonouti MP has raised concerns regarding the long delay in the renovation of the JSS maneaba in his home island which has collapsed.
Ieremia Tabai raised the question in Parliament yesterday.
In response, Education minister Ruateki Tekaiara said his ministry has plenty of funds for renovation and is currently working on the procurement process for the school’s maneaba.
Tekaiara said renovation works for the maneaba is expected to be completed in August next year.
