Minister for Health and Medical Services has said two sea ambulances are expected to arrive in the country in the first quarter of next year.
Booti Nauan was responding to a question raised by North Tarawa MP Terieta Mwemwenikeaki about the need to provide marine emergency crafts to transport critically ill patients to the main hospital.
Nauan said the boats are fully equipped with emergency equipment and can accommodate more than ten peope including the captain and six crew.
