Three presidential candidates have announced their manifestos ahead of the upcoming national election, set to begin this month.

The candidates are Hon. Bautaake Beia, MP for Teraina; Hon. Kaotitaake Kokoria, MP for Fanning Island; and HE Taneti Maamau, MP for Onotoa.

The Election Commission office informed Radio Kiribati News that one candidate, Ritite Iorome, has withdrawn from the race.

Voter registration will close on October 11, and voting locations will be announced on October 18.

The presidencial election is scheduled for October 25, with polling taking place from 7 AM to 6 PM, followed by the announcement of results.
