The Office of Te Beretitenti has announced that the South Tarawa Water Supply Project (STWSP) is one of the largest initiatives currently underway in Kiribati.
The total budget for the project is US$63.87 million (approximately AUD$84.3 million).
Funding has been secured from the Green Climate Fund (GCF), the World Bank, the Global Environment Fund (GEF), and the government of Kiribati.
The project is expected to be completed by the end of June 2027.
