The Ministry of Environment, Lands and Agricultural Development, through the Environmental and Conservation Division, has announced the results of the beach cleanup at Tongo Park conducted last Wednesday.
The Ministry reported that participants successfully cleared 115.53 kilograms of waste from the beach and mangroves, consisting of plastic items such as bottles and diapers.
This waste was disposed of at the Bikenibeu landfill.
The Ministry extends its gratitude to everyone who joined the cleanup campaign, especially the SPREP team, for their contributions to this important event.
