The Australian Government has congratulated Kiribati for its participation in the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.

The Australian High Commission in Bairiki reported that Kiribati’s involvement in these global games signifies significant progress in sports development.

Vision-impaired shot putter Ongiou Timeon has particularly made the nation proud as Kiribati’s representative in its first Paralympic appearance.

The High Commission also extended best wishes to Ongiou Timeon for his ongoing endeavors with his family and his home island of Kiribati.
